It's ifficult to present Superman, Man of Steel because if at this point there's anyone who doesn't know the most famous superhero story, they must have spent that last 75 years in a cave. And those are the exact number of years the character of Superman now celebrates, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938. And to celebrate his birthday, here comes the highly anticipated film from Zack Snyder on the character, written by Christopher Nolan too.
In Man of Steel, a true reboot of the Superman franchise in film (perhaps with a view to a future inclusion in a film of the Justice League), starting with the actor that plays him, Henry Cavill, you explore in detail the birth of the Man of Steel, starting with his escape from Krypton, where his father, Hal-El (Russell Crowe, no less) launches him to Earth to flee the destruction of their planet.
On arrival he's collected and adopted by the Kents, Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan (Kevin Costner), a typical American family, with strong moral values??, who bring him up regardless of where Superman has come from, or what he is. For them he's just Clark Kent ... although he can fly. And all's well, until the Man of Steel himself asks the question ... Why am I here?
